This is a 2007, Korean-Made, First-Gen Hellraiser C-1 Hardtail with the original EMG 81/85 set.
No Push-Pull Pots: Early Hellraisers were equipped with a standard EMG 81 in the bridge and an EMG 85 in the neck. Both are traditional active humbuckers that cannot be coil-split. Schecter did not introduce the coil-splitting feature (by switching to EMG 81TW and 89 pickups) until late 2008. The difference is that the EMG 81/85 set features tighter, more aggressive high-gain distortion and crunch than the later scooped sound of the push-pull set. Essentially, it's Killswitch Engage in a Bleeding Through shaped box.
Cosmetically, the guitar is in Very Good condition. It shows light finish swirling from picking and clothing friction, but has no buckle rash or missing paint chips. There is single, shallow divot in the finish on the bass side of the lower bout (approx. 3–4mm wide, see photos), which is visible under the right lighting conditions but does not break through to the wood.
The hardware includes a TonePros Tune-O-Matic bridge and pre-Schecter-branded Grover tuners. The photos feature non-matching white chrome Schaller S-Lock strap buttons, but the guitar will actually ship with the original black chrome buttons.
The hard case is also in Very Good condition. The bottom and corners show dings typical with gigging, the liner is nearly pristine, and I've recently repaired and improved the locking latch set (original state featured one center lock; repaired state features two corner locks).
