The Gretsch G2420T Streamliner Hollow Body with Bigsby is a single-cutaway electric guitar designed to deliver classic Gretsch hollow-body resonance and style at a more accessible price point.
It features a fully hollow arched maple body and is equipped with a Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece for expressive pitch-bending effects.
SPECS:
- Body Construction: Arched laminated maple top, back, and sides with parallel tone bars for enhanced resonance.
- Neck and Fingerboard: A "Soft C" shaped nato neck with a 12"-radius laurel fingerboard and pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays.
- Pickups: Broad'Tron BT-3S humbuckers that use a mix of Alnico 5 and Alnico 2 magnets to provide a fuller, tighter bass response and clear highs.
- Electronics: Traditional Gretsch layout with individual pickup volumes, a master tone, and a master volume. Modern updates include a push/pull coil-splitting pot on the master volume for single-coil tones.
- Bridge: An Adjusto-Matic bridge with a secured laurel base to ensure tuning stability when using the Bigsby vibrato.
