Avalon E55 L44 1980s - Silver

First run Eq and Compressor pair from Avalon with powered High voltage rack system. Overbuilt power supply with 80 volt rails, with six total slots. Eqs are clear and big, with huge depth and punch, as well as the signature Avalon glassy shimmer on the top end. These sound amazing on everything, and can do extreme surgical notches along with a huge and punchy bottom end and airy top end all at the same time. One of the favorite pieces of Michael Brauers analog multi buss mix system, along with other top mixers. The compressors are fast and transparent, but still nice and deep, with a great thickness in the mids close to the sonic character of an LA3A. Recently serviced and recapped by Greg Granieri. Open to certain partial trades, including Avedis E27, Pultec 500 eqs, or Heiserman H47. Strongly prefer local pickup. Thanks for looking!
