Selling my PreSonus ACP8 (the original 8-channel unit, not the ACP88). Cosmetically it's in good shape - no major dings or rack rash, looks good in a rack. I've owned this unit since the 90s. It's served me well, but has gotten flaky with age.

Full disclosure on the condition since I want this to go to someone who knows what they're getting into: some of the pots are scratchy when you turn them, and a handful of the buttons are either unresponsive or work intermittently. One of the channels may be bad. As a whole unit it does power up and function, but I wouldn't call any given channel fully reliable right now - some work fine, some are hit or miss.

That said, when working, it does a pretty good job. To my ears, compression quality is reasonable and it has a good amount of control per channel for an 8-channel, 2U unit. I've used sidechains on three of the channels without issue (have not tested the rest), but have not tested any of the gates. As mentioned before, some of the channels work all the time, others decide when they want to work.

Honestly this would be a great unit for someone comfortable doing a bit of contact cleaner / pot cleaning, or someone looking for a repair project. The bones are good and these are solid-sounding compressors when everything's working right - just needs some TLC to get all 8 channels back to 100%.

The ACP8 is fairly rare these days, so determining a value is somewhat difficult. I believe I've priced accordingly for the condition.
