Up for consideration is a phenomenal, highly distinctive piece of rock-and-roll muscle: an early USA-made Peavey EVH Wolfgang Special (Serial No. 91028711). Built in Meridian, Mississippi in the late 1990s under the direct design oversight of Eddie Van Halen, these flat-top configurations are celebrated for being incredibly resonant, lightweight, and pure rock machines.

This specific instrument features a beautifully executed, custom crimson Sun/Flame graphic applied seamlessly over its finish, making it a completely unique stage or collection piece. Beyond the aesthetics, the standalone highlight of this build is its spectacular Premium Birdseye Maple neck and fretboard. The raw, gunstock-oil finish on these early USA necks offers an ultra-fast, smooth playing experience that lacquered necks simply cannot match.

The guitar is in excellent structural and cosmetic condition, coming from a smoke-free home. The frets have plenty of life left, the neck is arrow-straight, and the electronics run perfectly quiet with massive, punchy output. The headstock features the iconic offset 3x3 tuner configuration and Eddie’s official signature stamp on the rear casing.
