Up for sale is my 2018 Gibson Custom Shop SG Custom in Ebony. This guitar is about as close to new as you’re likely to find. To the best of my knowledge, it has never been played other than any possible factory inspection or setup. I had the guitar looked over by an experienced guitar technician, and he also believed it to be unplayed. The protective film is still on the Gibson Custom logo on the pickguard, the finish has a beautiful deep gloss, and the gold hardware is exceptionally clean. I could not find any breaks, repairs, or modifications. It has spent its life stored in a climate-controlled, smoke-free environment. Included with the guitar are the original Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity, hang tags, inspection paperwork, case key, original factory shipping carton with the matching serial number, and the other original paperwork shown in the photos. Finding one this complete is becoming increasingly difficult.

The only thing worth mentioning is a small cosmetic blemish on the outside of the original case, which is shown in the photos. It does not affect the function of the case or the condition of the guitar itself. I’ll pack the guitar exactly the way Gibson originally shipped it, using the original factory box along with additional packing materials so it arrives safely.
