We are selling the cool and classic Casio VL1 (VL Tone), miniature keyboard synth and calculator made in Japan from 1979 to 1984. This is in very excellent original condition. Very clean and works perfectly! This thing really is as good as you remember. It comes with the original leather case and with 4 AA Batteries included! Takes you straight back to the 80's!

DESCRIPTION: The Casio VL-1 has auto rhythm, auto play, manual play, ADSR (mini-synthesizer) and one key play function in addition to the calculator. Has five preset sounds - piano, fantasy, violin, flute and guitar. An excellent toy for those that write their music on the go.

Uses 4 x AA batteries (included) or AC Adaptor AD-4160 (not included) DC 6V - 0.6W. It has only been tested with batteries as we do not have a compatible 6V power supply.

This gem was used by such artists as: Apollo 440, Devo, the Talking Heads, the Cars, Dee-Lite, Sting, Stevie Wonder, Vince Clarke, Beastie Boys, The Human League, Trio, White Town, and Bill Nelson.

This little machine featured on TRIO's Da Da Da a single which sold 13m copies worldwide!
