This is a vintage 1960s Danelectro Convertible. First introduced in 1959, these guitars were made and marketed as a hybrid acoustic / electric guitar. Its hollow body construction ensures its acoustic ability - perhaps not the same volume of a Martin Dreadnought, per se, but certainly loud enough to be played enjoyably unplugged.
The best part is that it plays like an electric: comfortable and un-burdensome, and a lipstick single coil lends that classic Dan-o sound. Its knobs are non-original, and it has an added pickguard. This one is in good shape with some scuffs and dings here and there, with a great playing neck. Loads of fun.
It has been professionally setup and is ready to rock!
