Condition: Very Good – Excellent
Serial Number: 01409609
Description
Built in Meridian, Mississippi, USA, this 1982 Peavey T-30 is one of the best-kept secrets of the vintage guitar world. Produced during Peavey's pioneering CNC manufacturing era, the T-30 is renowned for its exceptional build quality, innovative design, and legendary Super Ferrite pickups.
This example has been professionally refinished in a stunning transparent burgundy finish that beautifully highlights the natural ash grain. While the finish is not original, it was completed with excellent craftsmanship and gives the guitar a unique vintage appearance while preserving its classic character.
One of this guitar's standout features is its ultra-slim maple neck. Unlike many guitars from this period that feature thicker neck profiles, this T-30 has a fast, comfortable neck that feels fantastic in the hand. Whether you're playing rhythm or lead, it's an incredibly comfortable instrument that encourages hours of playing.
The three original Super Ferrite single-coil pickups deliver a remarkably versatile range of tones—from articulate vintage cleans and country twang to warm blues and punchy classic rock. These pickups have become highly regarded among players for their clarity, output, and dynamic response.
The maple neck has aged to a beautiful honey amber color and remains in excellent condition. The frets show minimal wear, the neck is straight, and the electronics function exactly as they should.
Included is the original molded Peavey hard shell case, making this an outstanding vintage American-made package that's ready to play.
