For sale is a vintage Ludwig Chrome Over Wood (COW) snare drum featuring rounded Blue & Olive badge and classic Imperial lugs.
The drum is in very good cosmetic condition for its age. Chrome remains bright with normal signs of use, and the shell is clean overall. All lugs, hoops, and hardware appear original.
The snare currently has vintage Ludwig Rockers heads installed and includes the original-style Ludwig throw-off.
Please Note: The throw-off functions, but the pivot pin occasionally works itself out when disengaging the strainer. It can likely be repaired or replaced with a new pin or replacement throw-off.
Otherwise the drum tunes well and sounds fantastic.
