Up for sale, a 2025 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Yuriy Shishkov ‘60s Stratocaster, like-new and complete with the hardshell case, CoA, hangtags, and all case candy. Sourced directly from a Fender dealer and never privately owned, this Masterbuilt represents the highest tier of Fender’s Custom Shop. The Masterbuilt models are made by a singular master craftsman, in contrast to other "team built" Custom Shop tiers.

This Strat was handcrafted by Yuriy Shishkov: rising from his humble origins building guitars in a Soviet-era Belarusian root cellar to his current status as Principal Master Builder, Shishkov has crafted instruments for Jimmy Page, Dimebag Darrell, and Paul Stanley, to name just a few. This particular ‘60s Strat features a gloss Shoreline Gold nitro lacquer finish with Fender’s Journeyman relic treatment, white-on-black plastics, and gold hardware.

Tonewoods include a two-piece alder body, a maple neck, and a slab AAA rosewood fretboard. The trio of hand-wound Custom Shop Fat ‘50s single coil pickups are wound by Josefina Campos, Fender's most celebrated current pickup winder and the protege of Abigail Ybarra. The pickups feature staggered hand-beveled pole pieces for balanced output, Alnico 5 magnets for enhanced dynamics, and a reverse-wound middle pickup to cancel out hum in the second and fourth positions. This Masterbuilt Yuriy Shiskov 1960s Stratocaster weighs 7lbs 8oz, dialed in beyond factory spec here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
