This is an official McIntosh SCR 2 Speaker Control Relay.
The McIntosh SCR2 Speaker Control Relay is a switching device to be used with the McIntosh C34V Audio/Video Control Center, or with the McIntosh C28, C29, C30, C32 and C33 Preamplifiers.
The SCR 2 allows you to:
1. Switch on and off 2 separate loudspeaker systems.
2. Switch on and off 2 high-powered A/C receptacles (120V A/C 1800 watts).
The SCR 2 is wired via a proprietory cable and contolled by the preamplifier's "MAIN" and "REMOTE" buttons. You may set up a 2nd loudspeaker and amplifier system in a separate room, or use 2 sets in one room!
The chrome casing is pitted and a couple of the terminal screws are missing, but otherwise in good shape! This unit came from a listener who was the sole owner.
