The Ethos TWE-1 is one of the most celebrated and sought-after boutique preamp/overdrive pedals in the world, hand-built by Custom Tones LLC in the USA. Conceived as a complete amp-in-a-box solution, it replicates the preamp topology of classic British and American valve amplifiers with extraordinary authenticity. Unlike conventional clipping-based overdrives, the Ethos uses genuine amplifier circuit techniques to deliver the touch sensitivity, harmonic richness, and dynamic response of a real valve amp — making it an industry staple among professional guitarists and recording engineers worldwide.
