Greco Japanese EJR-250 Les Paul Special and Telecaster Combo! Made in Japan EXTRAS!

Up for sale is this rare Greco, rosewood fretboard, made in Japan for the Japanese market, EJR-250 in Vintage White. I think these were made sometime between 2010 and 2012. Also included is the excellent condition, original, high quality gig bag. The previous owner said the body is Honduran Mahoganywhich is what the EJR-250 is. It’s a pretty cool guitar. It’s basically a Les Paul Special with a telecaster bridge and a genuine Bigsby.

There is a Dimarzio Chopper T pickup in the bridge position. I added a push/pull switch so you can get heavier series and lighter parallel sounds. There is a GFS Soapbar Gold Foil Single Coil Ferrite as the neck pickup (1st photo).  I will include a GFS Soapbar Alinco Vintage (KPP09) P-90 neck pickup (second photo). The neck pickups are very quickly swapped with quick connects. (I lightly sanded the short sides of the neck pickup covers to make them fit comfortably in the Greco neck pocket.

The controls are 1 volume, two tones. I added black metal tele style knobs to this guitar cause I like the look and they work well for the push/pull (1st photo).  I will also include the Strat knobs (2nd photo) and the original knobs (last photo).

I cut a piece of aluminum tube to use instead of the spring for the tremolo.  This gives the guitar rock solid tuning stability.  Of course, I will include the original spring.  It is very easy to lower the string tension and swap the aluminum for the spring.

This guitar is fantastic to play but I just don’t need it. I prefer my old school telecaster.

There is light fret wear.
