This is a first year San Dimas from the Japanese factory with a very early serial JC10001734. It will come with the stock Seymour Duncan 59 neck and JB bridge.

Of note, and what sets this apart from the rest by far (apart from being a very early serial) is that I've had the UK's best luthier, Ian Allerton, reshoot the neck - its now not a compound radius, its a constant 12" radius; and I had him refret it with Jescar Evo Gold frets which are virtually unobtainable (see Steve Vai's rig rundown with his tech - even they can't get it anymore). Its the best of both worlds - harder than nickel and not as bright as stainless steel. You are unlikely to find another Charvel with this super rare fretwire.

I've also had pickup rings installed, and the cavities deepened as from the factory there is.... zero ability to raise or lower the pickups, or change them. This is a pretty major upgrade.

The entire process with Ian cost me in excess of £600, and means this guitar will last longer than you and I will. Some of the pictures Ian took I've included here.
