The Gibson Custom Les Paul Custom Long Scale takes the unmistakable Black Beauty formula and gives it a completely different feel under the hands. Finished in Ebony with gold hardware and full Custom appointments, this version keeps the Les Paul Custom look intact while stretching the scale length to 25.5" for added snap, string tension, and clarity.

The body is built from one-piece mahogany with a two-piece plain maple top and nine-hole weight relief. That familiar mahogany-and-maple construction keeps the warmth, sustain, and midrange authority of a Les Paul Custom, while the longer scale adds a more immediate attack and makes this a particularly strong option for lower tunings.

The mahogany neck features Gibson Custom’s Les Paul Custom Modern profile, paired with a long neck tenon, bound ebony fingerboard, pearl block inlays, 22 medium-jumbo frets, and a 12" radius. The 25.5" scale gives this guitar a noticeably different response than a traditional 24.75" Les Paul without losing the premium Custom feel that defines the model.

A calibrated 490R neck pickup and 498T bridge pickup cover a wide range of ground, from warm, rounded neck tones to higher-output bridge sounds with more cut and push. CTS potentiometers, a Switchcraft 3-way toggle, and gold-covered humbuckers keep the electronics simple, powerful, and stage-ready.

With gold hardware, Grover Rotomatic tuners, an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, stop bar tailpiece, black speed knobs, and a Gibson Custom hardshell case, this is a Les Paul Custom for players who want the classic look with a more modern feel and response.
