Bourgeois Down East Series LDB Blues All Koa

Bourgeois already enjoys a successful partnership with Eastman in the form of the Touchstone series, but with the new Down East Series, they're taking it a step further!

The guitars in this series are built entirely to Bourgeois' specifications in China, with the Lewiston team overseeing the entire process. This allows Bourgeois to offer its signature balance, dynamic range, and responsiveness to more guitarists than ever before, thanks to the exceptionally competitive prices.

This beautiful LDB is part of the Down East Launch Edition, and for this series, Dana Bourgeois personally hand-voiced the first 125 pieces in his iconic style. Bourgeois sets the standard for the series' sound with this one, and a close listen to this LDB reveals a compelling case! As the name suggests, the LDB is also one of Dana Bourgeois' favorite models, so this guitar is undoubtedly a future classic.

Bourgeois used beautiful-sounding and aesthetic koa for both the back and top, resulting in a guitar that not only looks great but also sounds fantastic. Koa produces a warm and balanced sound with wonderful clarity. Bourgeois spared no expense on other details either, with both the bridge and fingerboard crafted from ziricote, featuring an ebony headstock overlay.

The guitar comes in a hardshell case with a certificate of authenticity.
