Hello,

The Insert I/O plugin we should have had since the beginning.

Pro Tools' native I/O insert is... let's say limited. Patchbay can do so much more.

- You can bypass it (lol but true)

- You can select any input/output (1-14 / 4-15 if you want). That means mono in -> stereo out with one instance is possible.

- 3 stages PING feature to ensure proper delay compensation.

- Links send and return gain to drive into your gear (you can even automate that!). Auto-Gain Match feature available too.

- Pre-emphasis/De-emphasis EQ to help your gear react more like you would want it to be. You can get similar results as API 2500 Thrust, Distressor Mid Bump, Fatso High-end saturation or just a HPF SC filter.

- Polarity, phase aligment tool, M/S,

- You can even use Patchbay on your Mixbus and route it to your laptop speakers for a quick check without having to change ProTools I/O and wait for the session to reload.

- You can even record with your laptop's speakers to capture a quick idea in the session.

- Demo unlimited in time.

- 1 activation per machine, unlimited machine activations.

It is not perfect, it's working around the DAW architecture, but that's the best solution I found so far.

Cheeeeeeers,
