1973 Martin D-35S — 12-Fret Slotted Headstock — Serial #327903

Beautiful vintage 1973 Martin D-35S, serial number 327903, featuring the classic 12-fret dreadnought body, slotted headstock, spruce top, and three-piece rosewood back that make the D-35 series so distinctive. This is a great example of Martin’s early-’70s 12-fret dreadnought design: warm, open, resonant, and powerful, with the extra depth and low-end bloom these “S” models are known for.

This guitar has been played and enjoyed, with honest cosmetic wear appropriate for its age, including surface scratches, pick/fingernail marks, finish checking/wear, and general signs of use visible in the photos. The back and sides show beautiful rosewood grain, and the three-piece back is especially striking.
