For sale is a vintage DOD FX69 Grunge distortion pedal, made in the USA by DOD Electronics Corporation in Sandy, Utah.

This is an original 1990s FX69, not a modern reissue. Serial number FX1-849272 is visible on the original back label. The pedal has been tested and works 100% as it should.

The FX69 is one of the most recognizable DOD pedals of the 1990s and has become a cult classic among players and collectors. Despite the “Grunge” name, this is not a polite overdrive. It is an aggressive, high-gain distortion with huge low end, cutting top end, heavy compression, and a raw mid-scooped character. It works well for punk, alternative rock, industrial, noise rock, sludge, stoner rock, and heavy riffing.

Controls are the classic DOD layout:

Loud: output volume
Butt: low-end/bass control
Face: treble/high-end control
Grunge: gain/distortion amount

Condition is very good for a vintage pedal. The purple crackle-style finish has cosmetic wear, checking, scratches, and small dings consistent with age. The graphics are still very clean and readable, the original knobs are present, and the back label is intact. The battery compartment is clean with no corrosion visible, and the battery clip is intact.
