Mackie 808S FR Series powered mixer with Mackie carrying case.
This is a very good powered mixer/head. It works great, sounds great, and has plenty of power for most club gigs when paired with good speakers. I just tested it again and everything sounded good. I used it at Sly McFly’s in Monterey, CA and it actually worked better than their house system.
This is the FR Series 808S, rated at 2 x 600W stereo, with 8 channels, built-in EMAC digital effects, graphic EQ, main/monitor routing, phantom power, XLR mic inputs, 1/4" line inputs, and built-in power amps.
Includes the Mackie padded carrying case shown in the photos.
Cosmetically it is in very good condition for its age. The front panel is clean, the knobs and sliders are intact, and the unit presents well overall. There are two small scuffs on the right edge of the front housing, directly to the right of the Main and Monitor Master knobs, plus normal minor marks from use. No major damage.
Rear date code appears to indicate April 2003.
