Conde Hermanos A26 Media Luna 1996 - Felipe V

Considered as the best years by the two brothers, Felipe and Mariano - Felipe V shop in Madrid 1990s. They have their own individual shops now. I was just in Madrid in early March and visited both shops. They are making some nice guitars but the 90s Conde just have that certain 'allure' to them popularized by Moraito, Nunez, Jeronimo etc. Not much more to say about this model of Condé if you are a flamenco aficionado. There is a reason why the majority of the famous modern flamenco guitarists in history, have played their guitars from Paco de Lucia, Tomatito, Gerardo Nuñez, Moraito, Paco Cepero etc and now by the new generation - Jesus Guerrero, Yerai Cortés among others.

Beautiful orange (naranja) finish. Top of the line European spruce top and Spanish cypress back & sides. Labeled as a 664/52 (actually 660mm scale) big sound, strong mids, trebles and that tone that made Condé guitars famous. Staight neck, string heights @ 12th fret are 2.8 mm @ low E and 2.4 high E. Upgraded vintage 90s Fustero (Made in Spain) gold plated tuners (originally came with Gotoh).

Two expertly repaired cracks on the cypress (back) by a professional luthier (photos). Apart from that, just some normal flamenco wear from its 29 years.

Will ship with a heavy duty hard case and packed well in a strong guitar box.
