This vintage Sigma DM-4 is an early Korean-built model produced for C.F. Martin & Co. These guitars have earned a reputation for delivering classic Martin-inspired tone and exceptional value, making them increasingly sought after by players and collectors alike.
The guitar features a comfortable dreadnought body with a warm, balanced voice that's equally at home with strumming, flatpicking, or fingerstyle playing. It has aged beautifully and has the open, mature sound that many older Sigma guitars are known for.
The guy I bought this from told me that the previous owner did a repair on the front surface of the guitar but never finished it.
The neck appears straight, the guitar plays well, and it includes a hard shell case for safe storage and transport.
