2023 Martin D-41 Sunburst – Excellent Condition – Original Hardshell Case

Up for sale is my 2023 Martin D-41 Sunburst, an absolutely beautiful example of one of Martin’s most iconic high-end dreadnoughts.

This guitar has been played exclusively at home and has never been used as a gigging guitar. When not being played, it has always been stored in its hardshell case and kept under proper humidity-controlled conditions.

The guitar is in excellent overall condition. There are a few very light surface scratches/swirl marks that can only really be seen when the light hits the finish at certain angles. Nothing that affects the structure, tone, or playability, and no major dings or damage. I’ve tried to represent the condition accurately in the photos.

The D-41 pairs a spruce top with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, gold hardware, and Martin’s beautiful abalone top trim, rosette, and fingerboard inlays. The Sunburst finish really sets this one apart and looks incredible in person.

Most importantly, this guitar plays like butter. The action and neck feel are extremely comfortable, and it has that big, full Martin dreadnought sound: strong low end, clear highs, excellent projection, and rich overtones. It responds equally well to strumming, flatpicking, or lighter fingerstyle playing.
