Up for sale is a rare and highly versatile 1999 Fender Standard Roland Ready Stratocaster finished in a sleek, classic Black. Made in Mexico, this unique guitar seamlessly merges the timeless feel and iconic tones of a traditional Fender Stratocaster with the expansive world of MIDI synth technology.
This is a 1999 Roland Synthesizer Stratocaster made in Mexico. It is in very nice shape and plays great. I will ship it in the hardcase you see in the pic. We do carry Fender factory cases if you care to upgrade as well. Comes with the Tremolo bar as you see in the photos.
Unlike retrofitted aftermarket kits, this guitar features a factory-integrated Roland GK-2 synth pickup sitting flush directly ahead of the bridge. Using the side-mounted 13-pin output jack, you can plug directly into Roland GR-series guitar synthesizers (like the GR-20, GR-33, or GR-55) or modeling processors to access orchestral sounds, pads, synths, and alternative tunings with lightning-fast, seamless tracking.
When unhooked from a synth unit, it functions flawlessly as a traditional Standard Stratocaster. The trio of high-output standard ceramic single-coil pickups delivers classic Fender spank, bite, and chime through a standard 1/4" output jack.
The comfortable Modern "C" profile neck has smooth rosewood fingerboard edges for an effortless playing experience.
