Up for sale is a vintage TEAC A-2000 4-Track Stereo Reel-to-Reel Tape Recorder.

The recorder has been tested, serviced, and is working very well. It has received routine maintenance including a new drive belt installation, and all primary transport functions were tested prior to listing.

Playback, Fast Forward, Rewind, Pause, Stop, VU meters, and audio output were all tested during the demonstration.

The demo video shown in the listing was recorded using this exact machine.

Condition

This recorder is in very good vintage cosmetic condition.

The front panel is clean and presents nicely.

The wood cabinet has normal signs of age including scratches, scuffs, edge wear, and a few veneer chips, primarily on the corners and side panels.

There is light cosmetic wear on the head cover and cabinet consistent with age.
