Nice example of Aria's very high quality precision basses from the 1970s.

These are seriously well-made.

(A pro player friend bought one exactly like this new in 1977 - it's still going strong!)

Condition-wise...

Overall, in very nice shape. Good to Very Good.

Some digs to the body and head but the maple neck is in beautiful shape. (See pics)

Fretboard / frets are in very good condition with lots of life left.

Rod has plenty of adjustment available.

Hardware is original.

The chrome on the tuners is a bit tarnished but they are very high quality and function beautifully.

Finish has worn off the control knobs, but again, it's purely cosmetic.

The original chrome bridge cover (often absent) is present.

The pickups really kick.

This has a more precision-than-precision depth to it. Really smooth and controlled with all the dynamics you could need.

Strong output, classic precision depth and super-punch.

Good flat wound strings.

Overall...

A good clean example of an all-original, high-quality Matsumoku-built precision in nice condition.

Years of service to come.

Plays well, intonation is tight and it really pumps it out.

Solid as it gets.

(No case with this, but rest assured, our packaging is exemplary.)
