The Schecter C-6 Plus in Electric Magenta Shock the System

At Town Center Music, we believe your instrument should reflect your energy. If your playing is bold, vibrant, and unapologetic, the Schecter C-6 Plus in Electric Magenta is your perfect match. Schecter has long been the go-to brand for players who demand high performance at a fair price, and the C-6 Plus takes that mission to a new level. Combining a sleek, comfortable body with high-output electronics and a finish that can be seen from the back of the room, this is more than just an entry-level guitar—it’s a gateway to your musical identity.

Boutique Looks Without the Boutique Price Tag

The first thing you’ll notice about the C-6 Plus is that stunning Electric Magenta finish. But look closer, and you’ll see the intricate "quilt" pattern. This model features a Quilted Maple Image top, which provides the high-end, 3D aesthetic of a figured maple cap while keeping the guitar accessible for budget-conscious players. Framed by a sleek flat top with a beveled edge, the C-6 Plus offers an ergonomic feel that stays comfortable through hours of practice or high-intensity gigs.

Underneath that striking finish lies a solid basswood body. Basswood is the "secret weapon" of many shredders and modern rock players because of its lightweight nature and well-balanced tonal response. It doesn't overly emphasize any one frequency, allowing your pickups and amp to do the heavy lifting in shaping your unique sound.

Built for Speed: The Thin 'C' Neck and 24 Frets

Schecter is famous for their playability, and the C-6 Plus is no exception. It features a bolt-on maple neck carved into a Thin 'C' profile. This neck is designed to feel fast and effortless, catering to both rhythm players who need stability and lead players who want to fly through scales. The smooth maple finish ensures your hand won't stick during those humid summer gigs in Georgia.

The rosewood fretboard provides a classic feel and a touch of warmth to the overall tone. With a 14-inch radius and 24 X-Jumbo frets, you have a full two octaves of range at your fingertips. The jumbo frets make string bends a breeze and allow for a light touch, reducing hand fatigue. Whether you’re learning your first power chords or mastering complex legato runs, this neck is built to support your growth as a musician.

High-Output Tone: Schecter Diamond Plus Pickups

A guitar this bold needs a voice to match. The C-6 Plus is equipped with a pair of Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers. These pickups are overwound to deliver a high-output signal that loves to push an amplifier into saturation. If you play rock, metal, or punk, you’ll appreciate the aggressive bite and sustain these humbuckers provide.

However, the Diamond Plus pickups aren't just about raw power. They retain excellent clarity even when you roll back the volume, making them versatile enough for bluesy grit or clean, atmospheric passages. With a simple 3-way toggle switch and Master Volume/Tone controls, you can stop menu-diving and start playing.

Rock-Solid Stability: Tune-O-Matic and String-Thru Body

Reliability is non-negotiable at Town Center Music. The Schecter C-6 Plus features a Tune-O-Matic bridge with a String-Thru-Body design. This setup is a favorite among players who want maximum sustain and tuning stability. By running the strings directly through the basswood body, you maximize the vibrational transfer from the strings to the wood, resulting in a guitar that rings out loud and clear.

This hardtail design also makes the C-6 Plus incredibly easy to maintain. Unlike tremolo-equipped guitars, you can change tunings on the fly or swap string gauges without having to recalibrate the entire instrument. Coupled with Schecter’s high-quality tuners, you can spend less time tuning and more time riffing.
