Up for sale is a 1970 Gibson ES-340 in amazing shape and set up to play like an absolute dream. This one has been converted from the original tailpiece setup and now features a real Tune-O-Matic bridge, giving it the familiar feel and response of a classic ES-335-style setup.
This guitar is a spectacular player with super low action, a fast feel, and excellent playability across the neck. It has been professionally refretted with jumbo frets, and the work was done extremely well. The result is a vintage Gibson semi-hollow that plays smooth, clean, and effortless.
The ES-340 is one of Gibson’s more interesting vintage semi-hollow models, sharing much of the DNA of the ES-335 but with its own unique character. With the upgraded bridge setup and jumbo refret, this one is built for someone who wants a vintage Gibson they can actually play and enjoy.
