What’s more, you also get a push-pull Tone knob to access both series and parallel options in the middle position, along with an onboard treble bleed circuit to keep your signal clear when rolling down the volume. What about playability? A maple Deep C neck and a 9.5-inch-radius fingerboard allow you to fly across all 22 medium-jumbo frets with the utmost speed and comfort. The American Professional II Custom Telecaster comes loaded with two 75th Anniversary V-Mod single-coils that split the difference between vintage vibe and modern clarity. These pickups, tweaked specifically for the 75th Anniversary collection, also feature a slightly hotter output to better drive your favorite tube amp or modeler. An expanded electronics section seals the deal, featuring a push-pull tone pot for series/parallel wiring. Activating this pot switches the middle position’s wiring from standard parallel to series, unlocking a humbucker-adjacent tone that’s far fuller-sounding than any stock Tele position. Finally, you also get a treble bleed circuit that retains your signal’s top end when rolling down the Volume knob.

Custom Shop–influenced neck

The Deep C neck profile on the Fender 75th Anniversary American Professional II Custom Telecaster is a subtle modification of the C neck that Fender players have been in love with for years. By adding a touch more roundness to the back contour, the Deep C carve fits your hand perfectly without inhibiting your technique. For added playing comfort, the back of the neck is finished in Fender's "Super-Natural" satin finish that feels fast and inviting. Your fingers will immediately notice how much control they have on the fretboard's medium-jumbo frets.
