Evans EQPC2 Clear Double Kick Drum Patch - 4-Pack | No Limit Guitar Co, Idaho Falls

The Evans EQPC2 is a clear polyester kick drum patch designed for double-beater setups, adding attack and beater click to your kick drum's sound without choking off its sustain or restricting the natural motion of the head. Four patches come in each pack, giving you plenty of replacements for extended use. It's a simple, low-profile upgrade that makes a noticeable difference in punch and definition — particularly for rock, metal, and other high-tempo playing styles.

Product Overview

Each EQPC2 patch is cut from clear, flexible polyester that adds a protective layer of thickness to your kick drumhead exactly where the beater makes contact. The flexible, stress-relief design conforms to the head's surface and moves with it during play, meaning you get the added durability and impact of a patch without deadening the head or sacrificing the low-end sustain that makes a great kick drum sound.

The clear construction keeps your drumhead's appearance intact — no opaque sticker look, just a clean, nearly invisible layer of reinforcement. The patch is sized specifically for double pedal setups, covering the contact points for both beaters without overlapping into areas that would affect the head's overall response.

The result is a tighter, more defined beater click with improved attack on every stroke — a meaningful tonal upgrade for drummers who find their kick drum sound lacking punch or definition, particularly at faster tempos where each hit needs to cut through clearly in the mix.

Ideal For

• Double kick drummers seeking more beater click and attack without sacrificing sustain or head motion
• Rock and metal drummers who need a punchier, more defined kick drum tone at high tempos
• Drummers looking to extend the life of their kick drumhead by protecting the beater contact area
• Players upgrading from a worn or flabby kick sound without swapping out their entire head
• Gigging drummers who want a reliable, affordable kick drum patch to keep on hand for quick replacements

Key Features Clear Polyester Construction

Made from durable, transparent polyester, the EQPC2 adds reinforcement and thickness to the beater contact zone while keeping your drumhead's appearance clean and unobtrusive.

Flexible Stress-Relief Design

The patch's flexible construction moves naturally with the drumhead during play, adding protection and attack without choking sustain or impeding the head's natural motion.

Enhanced Beater Click and Attack

By adding thickness at the point of beater contact, the EQPC2 delivers a more defined, punchy click on every stroke — particularly effective for cutting through dense mixes in rock, metal, and uptempo styles.

Sized for Double Pedal Setups

The EQPC2 is designed specifically to cover both beater contact points in a double kick configuration, providing even protection and consistent tone enhancement across both pedals.

4-Pack Value

Four patches per pack means you'll have backups on hand for head changes or replacements, making this a practical choice for working drummers who go through heads regularly.
