What's New in Gen 2?
While the first-gen Shure MVX2U was designed for connecting XLR microphones to a computer, the MVX2U Gen 2 is specifically designed to work on desktop, tablet, or smartphone. Gen 2 adds MFi ("Made for iPhone/iPad/iPod") certification as well as Android support. Gen 2 is controllable via Shure MOTIV apps on iOS and Android, not just on desktop. And Gen 2 adds new DSP -- the Real-time Denoiser and Digital Popper Stopper options -- that were not available with Gen 1.
