The Jackson American Series Soloist SL2MG is inspired by the guitars that helped shape the golden era of shred and modern metal. Built on the legacy established in Southern California during the early 1980s, the Soloist became synonymous with players who demanded absolute precision, effortless speed, and uncompromising performance. From the technical brilliance of Randy Rhoads to the modern metal players who continue to push the instrument to its limits, the Soloist has remained one of Jackson's defining creations.

Finished in Satin Lambo Orange, this build is impossible to ignore. The vibrant finish brings an exotic, supercar inspired energy to the Soloist's unmistakable silhouette, giving it a bold, modern presence that perfectly matches its aggressive personality. Combined with Neck Through construction, a rolled ebony fingerboard, stainless steel frets, and premium hardware, every detail reflects Jackson's relentless pursuit of performance. The factory EMG pickups have also been upgraded to a set of Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers, professionally installed by a renowned luthier with a level of craftsmanship that looks completely factory. Separate volume and tone controls for each pickup provide exceptional flexibility, while the push pull functions unlock second voicing and a single-coil voicing, dramatically expanding the guitar's tonal range without sacrificing its clean, original appearance.

The moment you pick it up, everything feels effortless. The satin Speed Neck, rolled fingerboard edges, and stainless steel frets make demanding passages feel fluid and natural, while the Neck Through construction gives every note exceptional sustain. The Fishman Fluence Modern pickups elevate the SL2MG even further, delivering crushing high gain tones with incredible clarity, immense headroom, and remarkable note separation. Switch to the passive voiced bridge mode for a warmer, more organic response, or engage the neck single coil for articulate cleans and sparkling textures that most high performance metal guitars simply cannot produce. The result is an instrument that retains every ounce of the Soloist's legendary speed and aggression while offering a level of tonal versatility that is truly exceptional.
