Vox V847 Wah – modded with a vintage Clyde McCoy-style circuit board – as new
A current Vox V847 (made in China) that has been upgraded with a vintage-style replacement board voiced after the 1960s Clyde McCoy wah. The result is a warmer, more vocal sweep with a rich midrange and less harsh top end than a stock V847 – great for funk, blues and classic rock.

- Bottom plate: "VOX WAH-WAH – Model V847 – Vox Amplification Ltd. – Made in China", CE mark
- Chrome treadle with VOX logo, black crackle base with VOX badge
THE MOD (see photos)
- Replacement vintage-style Clyde board with a round halo-type inductor
- Striped vintage-style ("tropical fish" type) capacitors and carbon resistors
- An additional mini toggle switch has been fitted (see photo)
- Original V847 potentiometer, footswitch and jacks
- Runs on a 9V battery or standard 9V adapter
CONDITION
- As new, fully working: smooth sweep, switch works as it should
- Clean housing, treadle and bottom plate
