I am offering here a rare Gretsch G7593 White Falcon from 2003, a handcrafted hollowbody luxury model made at the legendary Terada Guitar Factory in Nagoya, Japan, featuring a voluminous 17-inch single-cutaway maple body, set maple neck with standard “U” neck profile, bound ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl block inlays, two powerful Gretsch High Sensitive FilterTron humbucker pickups, premium Gretsch Deluxe die-cast tuners, high-quality original roller bridge on ebony base, and Bigsby vibrato tailpiece in a radiant high-gloss white finish with gold hardware and multi-ply gold sparkle bindings, in excellent condition, including Gretsch luxury hardshell case and professional setup with 10-gauge Elixir strings.

The Gretsch G7593 White Falcon is a luxury hollowbody model handcrafted at the legendary Terada guitar factory in Nagoya, Japan, and one of the most iconic archtop guitars of all time. With its voluminous 17'' single-cutaway body made of laminated maple, the classic Falcon silhouette, and the radiant white high-gloss finish, this instrument embodies the very essence of Gretsch tradition, elegance, and stage presence. The craftsmanship—typical of Japanese handwork at Terada—is characterized by great care and precision down to the smallest detail, and you can hear, feel, and see this from the very first moment you pick it up.

The glued maple neck with a standard “U” neck profile provides a pleasantly substantial playing feel and fits perfectly with the large archtop body shape. The ebony fingerboard, framed by sparkling gold sparkle binding and featuring mother-of-pearl block inlays, not only provides the unmistakable Falcon look but also ensures very precise response, high clarity, and excellent definition across the entire fingerboard. The long 648mm scale length further contributes to taut string tension, clear articulation, and an open tonal character.

Plugged into an amp, the pair of Gretsch High Sensitive FilterTron humbuckers conveys the woody, airy timbre of the hollow-body construction with nuance, revealing a warm, singing tone. With its dynamic response, it’s no wonder that the guitar feels incredibly at home in genres ranging from classic rock to rockabilly, blues, and country. Thanks to the special electronics—featuring two individual volume controls, a master volume control, and a tone control—you can access a wide range of versatile sound options in a flash, in true Gretsch style.

A sound sample of this model (2005 only) can be found above at the end of the photo gallery.

The exquisite gold hardware complements the luxurious overall look: Gold Gretsch Deluxe die-cast tuners guarantee reliable tuning stability, while the original ebony-based roller bridge, combined with the Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, offers a smooth playing feel, precise intonation, and authentic vintage vibrato effects. Gold control knobs, the gold Plexi pickguard with the Falcon logo, and the elaborate, multi-layered Gold Sparkle bindings make this instrument a true visual highlight as well!
