The AT-240 are mic preamps . The AT-241 is the output module with gain make up and output transformer. A attenuator, like a Daven goes between the 2 modules. I will be putting up a data sheet for the AT-241 .

Known for its punchy, in-your-face analog sound, it often features Hammond transformers and is frequently compared to vintage modules by Neve, Langevin, and API.
