1997 Gibson Custom Shop Ace Frehley Signature Les Paul Custom (collector grade, all-original). Original hardshell case. This guitar was purchased at Yamano Music (Ginza main store) in Japan and was used in Yamano’s promotional media. One of 300 Custom Shop Ace Frehley models made in 1997 (ACE 028). Meticulous construction and premium components; Spaceman tribute details include lightning bolt fretboard inlays, engraved “sterling silver” truss-rod cover, control cavity cover and rear switch cavity cover, and an Ace Frehley portrait inlay on the headstock.
Condition:
- Neck: straight with almost no relief; at most a very light relief up to about the 5th fret, but effectively straight. Truss-rod nut is not tightened excessively.
- Frets: no measurable wear.
- Electronics: fully functional, original wiring and solder joints intact.
- Hardware: nickel-plated parts show some tarnish.
- Finish: gloss Cherry Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer, neck finish smooth.
- Body: original dent/scratch at the hip point on the back present from purchase (see photos).
- Inspected/verified by a professional maintenance shop.
