This is a 1995 J-100.
As a Special Edition model, this guitar features an Adirondack spruce top, mahogany sides and back, and original gold tuning pegs. Compared to the J-200, its simple design is quite cool.
While weather checking is visible throughout, there are no scratches, dents, cracks in the wood, or any history of repairs, so it’s in good condition. An additional strap pin has been added to the neck heel. No pickups have ever been installed.
The neck is in excellent condition, and the action is set low: 2.2 mm on the 6th string and 1.7 mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret. The frets are also in good condition.
It produces rich, resonant mid-to-low tones and smooth high notes with a crisp attack. This guitar feels great to play with a pick.
It comes with the original hard case.
