Up for sale is a Fender Jim Root Telecaster, made in Mexico, finished in Flat White, in good overall playing condition with a professional pickup swap to passive Seymour Duncan humbuckers. This is Jim Root’s heavy-duty take on the Tele platform: mahogany body, maple neck, ebony fingerboard, 25.5" scale, 12" radius, jumbo frets, and hardtail Tele bridge, built to handle high-gain tones while still feeling familiar to Fender players. The Seymour Duncan humbuckers give it a tight, punchy low end and smooth top with plenty of output, but without the battery and active-circuit hassle of the original EMGs, so it’s a great fit for modern rock, metal, and down-tuned rhythm work

Condition-wise, the guitar is in good shape overall, with honest player wear rather than abuse or structural damage. There is visible wear/damage on the top right side of the body and a small blemish by the top strap lock—both are purely cosmetic and do not affect playability, tuning stability, or structural integrity in any way. Frets have plenty of life, the neck feels smooth and comfortable, and the hardware and electronics function as they should, with no scratchy pots or intermittent issues
