About the Footswitch (Foot Pedal)

The compatible pedal is the Marshall PEDL-90008(also called Stompware). It’s a 4-button footswitch specifically designed for the MG FX series, including the MG30FX. 

•  Functions:

•  Switch between the 4 channels (Clean/Crunch toggle and OD1/OD2).

•  Turn effects on/off.

•  Tap tempo for delays/modulation.

•  Tuner mode (often mutes the amp for silent tuning).

It plugs into the “FOOTCONTROLLER” jack on the front panel. It’s programmable to some extent and makes live use much smoother.
