Completed on 12/23/24, this 2024 Fender FSR Japanese Hybrid II Telecaster was imported from Shimamura Musical Instruments at their Lalaport Sakai guitar shop in Japan. Shimamura works directly with Fender to spec unique combos you can’t get anywhere else. It is a Shimamura exclusive, Fender Japan Hybrid II Telecaster, in a Charcoal/Frost Flake/ Metallic with a rosewood neck and tummy cut. The nut is said to by 1.64, .80 at the first fret and .88 at the 12th fret. This Made in Japan Hybrid II base has an excellent fit and finish and a matching headstock. Lightweight at approximately 6lbs. 14 ounces and plays like butter with the D’Addario 9-42’s. Arrives in a nice SKB hard case.  A truly precision instrument.

I’m picky. Swirling on the pickguard, the two tiny indentations circled in one photo (I used a bright light and reading glasses to find them) and a few others on the back in the other photo are indicative of a few others that might be found elsewhere when you can find them; very difficult to photograph.
