2014 Gibson Thunderbird Bass, Walnut Finish, Neck-Thru, Original Case - Ready to Rock

The Thunderbird is one of the most iconic bass designs ever made, and the walnut finish is one of the harder colourways to track down. This example is in excellent condition and comes complete with the original Gibson brown hardshell case.

The Bass
This is a 2014 model, finished in the less common walnut colourway and built to Gibson's classic Thunderbird spec. The neck-thru construction is what separates a real Thunderbird from the rest, a 9-ply mahogany/walnut multi-laminate that runs the full length of the body for exceptional sustain and resonance. It also carries the 120th Anniversary banner on the fingerboard, making it a collectible piece of Gibson history.

The T-Bird Plus pickups deliver that unmistakable Thunderbird growl, aggressive in the mids, thick on the low end, and unlike anything a Jazz or Precision can produce. Black chrome hardware throughout looks sharp against the walnut finish.
