This 2008 Gibson Custom '1987 Les Paul Standard "Jessica" Slash Signature is a seriously rare and collectible piece, limited to just 400 examples worldwide. Built as part of Gibson Custom Shop’s “Inspired By” series, it’s a faithful recreation of Slash’s iconic 1987 Les Paul Standard, affectionately known as “Jessica,” and one that captures both the look and feel of the original incredibly well.

Finished in Heritage Cherry Sunburst VOS, this particular example has a beautifully subtle, lightly faded burst that gives it a more natural, almost honeyed appearance. Paired with a clean one-piece maple top and solid mahogany body, it has a lively, resonant feel with plenty of depth and sustain, everything you’d want from a great Les Paul.

Loaded with a pair of Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro-II, it delivers a thick, vocal midrange with smooth highs and excellent dynamic response, sitting comfortably in that classic Slash tonal territory. The Slash-style neck profile offers a comfortable, slightly fuller feel in the hand, making it an inspiring and effortless guitar to play.
