Ashton Super Strat HSS – Professionally Serviced & Fully Set Up | Nix Custom Guitars
This Ashton Super Strat HSS has undergone a complete professional inspection and workshop service by Nix Custom Guitars, with a focus on reliability, playability and tonal performance.
Rather than simply cleaning and reselling the instrument, every critical area was inspected, serviced and tested before final assembly.
Work carried out:
• Complete electronics inspection and rewiring
• Custom HSS wiring configuration:
- 250k Audio Taper Volume for Neck & Middle single coils
- 500k Audio Taper Volume for Bridge Humbucker
- Master Tone control
• Full copper shielding applied to the control cavity for improved noise rejection
• Pickup wax potting performed to minimize unwanted microphonic feedback
• Fret leveling, recrowning and polishing
• Complete setup with new .010–.046 strings
• Truss rod adjustment
• Bridge and action adjustment
• Intonation professionally set
• Built-in electronic tuner fully tested and operational
• Cosmetic cleaning and detail work
• Final QC inspection and full play test
The result is a quiet, reliable and responsive instrument with excellent tuning stability, comfortable action and significantly improved overall performance.
The guitar is in very good working condition with only the expected cosmetic signs of normal use for its age. All electronics function correctly, controls operate smoothly and the instrument is ready to play straight out of the case.
Every instrument serviced by Nix Custom Guitars receives a complete workshop inspection before being offered for sale.
