Up for sale is a 1966 Gibson SG Special in a rare Pelham Blue finish. This guitar is 100% original and remains in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, no breaks, and no touchups.

The guitar plays great and sounds absolutely killer. The original P-90 pickups have that classic SG Special bite: raw, articulate, punchy, and full of vintage Gibson character.

The finish shows honest vintage aging and wear, but there are no repairs or finish touchups. The neck is comfortable, the guitar is resonant, and it has a great feel in hand. There is only very light fret wear on the first few frets, with plenty of life left.

Original mid-’60s SG Specials are already great guitars, and finding one in an early Pelham Blue finish with this level of originality is especially rare.
