Here is a very cool and great-playing 1955 Gibson Les Paul Standard with a full refinish and extensive work completed in 1974.

This guitar is NOT being represented as an all-original collector-grade example. It is a player-grade vintage Les Paul with the important distinction that the original pickups are still present. Everything else on the guitar is non-vintage/replaced.

The guitar received a total refinish in 1974. The headstock and neck were also sanded down at that time. Binding on neck was removed and shaved down on sides (see neck specs) The body thickness remains untouched and has not been shaved or altered. It has also had a refret and replaced inlays.

Condition-wise, the guitar plays great and sounds amazing. The frets show no wear and the guitar is ready to be played. It has the feel, sound, and presence you want from a vintage Les Paul, without the museum-piece price tag.
