This model is based on the "Axis Fuzz," developed in early 1967 to increase Jimi Hendrix's tonal variations!

It boasts a wider sound and range than the "Axis Fuzz," with improved low-frequency response and reduced noise! ​​It employs a discrete circuit and is equipped with an active splitter. While it has a fuzz texture, it has a crisp, compressed, and rough distortion with a strong, sustained feel. It responds well to the guitar's volume, allowing for easy adjustment of the distortion level. This is an older, small-box version.
