This is a very rare and early Teisco J2 electric "Guiter", made in Japan in the 1950's. This is a killer looking little guitar that has a set design and wild electronic and pickup. The guitar is really more of a lap steel that you hold like a guitar and play with a slide. The action is too high to play like a standard guitar but it rocks as a slide only guitar. All parts appear to be original and the word "guitar" is misspelled "guiter" on the model plate on the back of the headstock. The guitar shows quite a bit of wear and one inlay dot is missing in the neck. The guitar comes with a gig bag and will be expertly packed for safe shipping. The guitar is very light weight and weighs 4 LBS and 3 ounces.
