Gibson / 1995 J-160E

A Gibson J-160E that recreates the legendary ladder bracing era loved by John Lennon

The J-160E is an iconic model that defined the Beatles' sound.

This product is a highly sought-after model, faithfully reproduced in 1995 at the Gibson Montana factory with meticulous specifications.

Traditional Sound Structure
It features a 16-inch round-shoulder body, equivalent to the J-45, and employs the same plywood spruce top and ladder bracing as the original.

By moderately suppressing the acoustic resonance, it faithfully reproduces the specifications of "that era," dramatically reducing feedback when amplified.

P-90 Pickup & Controls
A magnetic stacked P-90 pickup mounted at the end of the fretboard and volume/tone knobs located on the top surface.

The moment you plug it into an amp, that crisp, slightly gritty, one-of-a-kind "electric-acoustic sound" of the early Beatles is revived.

Nearly 30 years have passed since its production, and the nitrocellulose lacquer has aged beautifully, giving it a sophisticated look. The moderately tight, dry tone provides exceptional clarity the moment you strum it.
