This instrument is a modified version of the 2008 4001 C64 - Fireglo.

Paul McCartney used this distinctive-looking guitar for only a short time; it was a 4001 that Rickenbacker had gifted him, which he then painted himself.

Since the paint was later stripped away, revealing the natural wood finish, no original examples survive—it is preserved only in numerous videos and photographs.

We had no choice but to analyze and study these records to recreate it.

It masterfully recreates that distinctive look—not only in color but also in meticulous details like the chip in the pickguard near the screw on the rear volume knob—resulting in a truly exquisite finish.

There is some slight tarnish on the metal parts and some weather checking in the finish in places, but considering its age, this is to be expected, and it can still be considered in excellent condition.

While many examples have neck issues, this particular instrument currently measures approximately 3 mm on the 4th string side and 2.4 mm on the 1st string side.

For a Rickenbacker product, this is well within an acceptable range.

The C Series is already extremely rare.
